Excellent choice for great food! Very quick service!

Glad to see they are still around. Friendly, comfortable, clean. Didn't feel like a chain restaurant. Nice variety to the menu with better than reasonable prices, personable and fast service. Last one I saw was in Cleveland Circle.

Not usually crowded. I'm not overly impressed with the menu. Good service.

Great service, burgers, speciality burgers, adult beverages, deserts . Provide basket of popcorn first as you sit down. Dinner and sport's section, your choice. Family and kid friendly. Next to hotel alley near the airport .

Fast friendly, and good food and drinks!

Truly surprised at how good the food was. Haven't had ground round in years. They are no longer in my area. My steak was done perfectly. Our waitress was very attentive. Would certainly eat there again and they stay open late. Many places around here close at 9 they are open until 11. And they give you popcorn to start.

This was fabulous from the waitress right down to the food. We were able to take the time to enjoy our food and no point felt rushed. The prime rib was one of the best I'd had. I should have taken pictures but sadly did not.

Dine- in and outside dining options are available here. Upon being seated, I was accompanied by a waitress within 2 or 3 minutes. The menu here is versatile and the food is brought to the table immediately after leaving the heat. The waitresses were consistent in tending the table and knowledgeable about menu choices and had no problem lending assistance.

30 some beer on tap, wicked food, great service. I had the turkey pretzel 🥨 sandwich. Shaved turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard sauce. Absolutely delicious 😋 the best sandwich I've ever tasted in my 48 years on earth. Reasonable prices, generous amount of portions. I highly recommend that you try this spot out if you are ever in Bangor Maine!

First time eating there, had an amazing great Ruben sandwich & fries. Best ever!! Food servers were very good also

Was seated promptly, server was efficient and extra sweet. Food is mediocre. Burgers/prime rib was way pass well done, when ordered med-rare and medium.

Service is great, food is very good for the price. For stranded airline passengers: they accept airline meal vouchers! (At least, from United)

My fiancee and I went here despite the rumors we had heard. It was phenomenal. The prices were good, the food was amazing and the portion sizes were fairly big. Neither me nor my fiancee could finish our plate- without apps or dessert. The service was good and quick. Definitely going to come back.

Had a fantastic meal here last night and the service was top-notch. Our waitress was on her A game and regularly checked on us to see if we needed anything. We love the new outdoor seating and hope that they continue to have it every summer, even after this whole COVID crisis is over. We started with an appetizer of soft pretzel sticks with beer cheese that were to die for. We also got an order of burger sliders to take home for later. We enjoyed those as a midnight snack. For our meals, I had the Alfredo pasta with chicken and broccoli, which was served steaming hot and the broccoli was extremely fresh. My husband had a burger with onion rings that were cooked to perfection. We will be back!

Excellent fresh food, had the huge nacho plate it was loaded. The service was great. Ordered a fresh burger, I love the pretzel bun. Fries were hot and then boneless wings with a Cajun dry rub, delicious. The wings are .45 cents on the nights the Boston teams play, this is our third time, will keep coming back!!

Inauspicious exterior, happy surprise. Soup of the day was a fine seafood chowder. I had the Hot Sicilian sandwich, very good. My wife had the cranberry chicken salad and liked it a lot. Friendly service, too. Thanks to the volunteer at the Cole Land Transportation Museum for the recommendation!

Good place to eat.. Nice bar.. Good looking friendly waitresses get it.. The food is excellent.. Plenty of parking and they need it cuz quite often a crowd.. Worth the wait.. Relaxing atmosphere.. And they "even" have Red Bull.. Purdy much yum all the way around.

The food was average at best. Ate in the bar. The bartender was extremely nice, professional and made the experience a 4-star rather than 3.

This is a great place to hang out. The music is awesome, the food is delicious, there are a number of great local beers to try, and overall the atmosphere rocks. The staff have great attitudes and are quite friendly. It is a convenient location just a couple of minutes from the airport and within walking distance to a number of hotels. I have tried numerous things on the menu and all were great. The Irish Egg Rolls (mini rubans deep fried) are phenomenal. There is also a must Tre sandwich known as Three Pigs in a Blanket that is off the charts. This is a very worthwhile stop!

I have been here multiple times over the course of a few years and every time it's just the same. The people are nice and friendly, but every time the food is just tasteless. I have ordered many different items on the menu and all of the food just tastes bland to my wife and I. Also they give you free popcorn which is very salty everytime.

Good food. It's been a while since I had been here, but the family wanted to go out for dinner and they were near by where we were, so we stopped in. Great variety of fare. Nice welcoming dining room. Sports Bar off to one side as well. Although we didn't eat in there, I still snuck a glance in and it was a nice place. Couple big screens. Would recommend going there. Pay attention to their deals and specialty nights.

My Kids LOVE this Place! We were in Bangor for 2 weeks and literally all I heard was "Daddy are we going to the Ground Round Tonight?" My Girls Pimped that Place, That Place Pimped my Girls, The Beer was Cold, The Waitresses were awesome and fast. Honestly, It's an hour of awesome. I would love to live close to a Ground Round all day long

The food is great, and the atmosphere at this restaurant is relaxing. It's a nice place you can go to for dinner, where you don't have to get too dressed up or anything. They have a bunch of TV's, with mostly sports playing on them. This is a good place to get a steak, or a burger. I think it's reasonably priced as well.

Fast and super friendly service from Brooke. Food was excellent and Ribeye was cooked perfectly.

The Reuben egg rolls are my new favorite thing...my burger was juicy and delicious.

Had a great time at this restaurant, the bar tender was very nice and even threw in a free bag of popcorn. Prices arnt to bad either. Food was delicious will be going again.

Nice selection of good quality food. Also, there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Covid response is social distancing and masks but no reservations required as of this writing.

Arrived at 5:45 on a Friday, greeted warmly, seated immediately...our waitress (Anne) was a real sweetie.Got huge happy hour priced beers, delicious burger and fish tacos!Very substantial portions, fair price!

Weary after a very long day of travelling we were greeted at our table by our server Kelci. The restaurant was extremely busy and Kelci was nothing but amazing. Cheerful despite a long shift, she was friendly, helpful, efficient, and totally engaging despite juggling the needs of many tables and customers, multi-tasking at its finest.. She has excellent people skills, is adept at relationship building, has a great positive attitude, using humor to connect in the best possible way. We had a totally enjoyable experience with her and feel she has great potential for more senior responsibilities and could be a very effective mentor for other staff, a big asset for your business. The food was great as well and so very reasonable. We had the natchos with chicken and chicken wings and enjoyed both. Thanks for everything and we will definitely be back on our travels from Canada.

Magnificent tower of brownies, ice cream, whipped cream, and warm chocolate and caramel drizzle. Brownies were perfectly soft and warm, giving great texture to the whole delicious dish. Probably the best sundae I have ever had. The little piggy burger was cooked exactly as ordered, and piled high with piggy and fried onion. Sorry, I was so anxious to sink my teeth into it I didn't get a picture. Add in the superb customer service from entry to exit, and you have a customer for life in this foodie. Hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had.

Cozy neighborhood joint. They serve up solid food, with good service. I had the chicken club salad and it was good. A little heavy on the cheese but good. A good neighborhood bar that’s got a warmer touch than other chain restaurants. A little outdated (from the outside) but I’d recommend them.

Good service, and good food - Fridays feature an all-you-can-eat fish fry (which was delicious)! The main dining area on the left side of the lobby has high-backed booths which is nice for a bit of privacy while you're eating, and there is a bar area with additional booths/tables to the right of the lobby. Popcorn is brought out for the table prior to your order. Lots of parking. Easy access to 395/95, and the airport. Will definitely eat here again!

This place has always been a favorite! Even during COVD-19, it still is!!! They have included outside seating and the tables inside are perfectly spaced! Helpful and amazingly friendly staff....you HAVE to stop here!

my wife had the prime rib which was cooked very nicely flavorful and quite tender. Came of the side of a baked potato and a gorgeous Caesar salad. Fresh crisp nice salad good size. I have the triple fajita with chicken beef and shrimp. The guacamole was tasty there was plenty to take home. The lettuce tomato and cheese came in a tasty crisp taco bowl. Almond all good place for a meal and to bring the family. we came on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait, sat right down, food came out fairly quickly and was hot and fresh. If you're in Bangor with the family or by yourself be sure to stop by The ground round have a nice bar there as well.

The food was abominable. The waitress however was excellent and did not deserve to treated so horribly by the patrons sitting next to us.

This restaurant is within walking distance of our hotel. The waitress was Aleisha and she was amazing. Met our requests without writing them down and with a smile. One funny coincidence is that we do certain colors of things for our 3 boys and when she brought out the kid's drinks, their different colored straws were in them! The food was amazing! So many choices so nobody had to compromise. We will be back!
